Experiences and thoughts on taking the July 2006 Bar Exam

It's Only The Beginning

Is there anything more discouraging than the beginnings of bar review? Grinding through the outlines, trying to memorize it all, and comparing not so good answers with the model answers.... How is one expected to keep their spirits up through all of that?

I guess the only way is for one to have faith in that enough progress will be made with continued effort.

i had a bar exam question - thanks for making this list of july 2006 bar exam bloggers, btw - my question is for you or anyone else who reads this that is taken/has taken the bar...

- do you just read the outlines or do you re-outline them yourself? i find that i am a "tactile" learner & i need to re-write things down to memorize them. it seems like most other people are just reading/listening to tapes/cds/mp3s.

thanks!

Seeing that there's no one way to study for the bar, I suggest going with the way you learn best.

I'm the same way, I have to retype and tweak the outlines a little bit in order to remember them.

Well, I'm about to go piss away another beautiful day cooped up in a library memorizing property law. I like to make my own flashcards as that tends to speed up the imprint process for me. Big shout out to everyone in the same boat.
